Yesterday this 100 pack of dvd blanks was $16. Today it goes up to $34. Other reviewers have mentioned the same in the past. Why the big price swings amazon? Cost is cost and your costs don't double overnight so why raise the price for your consumers? Back to TDK for me I suppose. I certainly won't spend $34 on dvd blanks, ever. -- Why the huge price swings????

I purchased a spindle of these solely based on price. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised. I've burned about half the spindle so far in two separate computers and a 1st generation, standalone DVD recorder (Sony RDR-GX7)and haven't had a single failure. I teach public speaking, and I am using the DVD-Rs primarily to record and make copies of class sessions where students are doing speeches. I then make three copies of each class DVD and put them on reserve at the University library for students to sign out and view. So far, I haven't heard from either students or the library about any problems.

In a nutshell, I am very satisfied with the first half of the spindle! If I am an statistical irregularity, and have a lot of failures with the second half of the spindle, I'll update the review. -- Great value, no problems so far.

Good Stuff at a Great price.

Haven't had a single failure (yet). Have burned about 25 DVDs without any issues.
Write speed leaves a lot to be desired.
